A mystery familiar takes the form of an illustrated animal medallion, framed in brass with your choice of gunmetal or antique gold-tone finish, and worn on a simple black braided waxed cord. A tangible reminder of the story you choose to carry.
Materials: Brass medallion in an antique gold-tone or gunmetal finish, with a printed illustration sealed under a domed glass cabochon. Comes on a black braided waxed cord. Optional chain in 18K gold PVD or black PVD stainless steel, 45 cm + 5 cm extender.
Care: Keep away from water, perfume and lotions, and store in its velvet pouch to preserve the finish and the artwork.
A black velvet pouch is included.

The number of illustrated medallions in your chosen offer: one, two or three. Each has a sculpted brass frame in your chosen finish — antique gold-tone or gunmetal — and comes with a simple black braided waxed cord. The familiar design is the surprise; it comes from the eight designs shown on this page.
The Grimoire is available online. Decorative books, candles and other scene props are not included.
How is my familiar chosen?
You choose to open the door. Which of our eight familiars waits on the other side remains a surprise until your parcel arrives.
For a duo, chance chooses among natural allied pairs. For a trio, a familiar is chosen at random and joined by the two allies described on its page. Fire meets Air; Water meets Earth. The meeting is a mystery, but the bonds within your circle have a place in our Grimoire.

Can I choose the animal instead?
Of course — if a particular familiar has already caught your eye, follow the Find Your Familiar path to explore it. The mystery offers are for those who want the surprise.
What makes the duo different from the trio?
The duo brings together two different natural allies: Fire with Air, or Water with Earth. Chance opens the door; the affinities described in our Grimoire guide the pairing.
The trio welcomes one familiar and the two allies presented on its page — three different medallions forming a connected circle. Their identities stay hidden until you open your parcel.
Do I need to know about witchcraft or the elements?
Not at all. Our familiars are symbolic jewelry inspired by nocturnal creatures and storytelling. You can love the artwork, connect with an animal’s qualities or simply enjoy the mystery. There is no ritual you have to follow.
What if my familiar surprises me?
That is part of this path. Read its story and see what speaks to you; there is no “wrong” personality match because this is not a personality test. If receiving a specific animal matters most to you, choosing it directly is the better path.
Could this be a gift?
