Some bonds begin before words.

At the edge of the familiar world, certain creatures seem to hold our gaze a little longer. Diaval at the window. Styx circling the last light. Jareth keeping watch while everything else sleeps. In the world of Eight Shadows, that moment of recognition is where the bond begins.

Our familiars are symbolic companions, gathered into a circle of Fire, Air, Water and Earth. Each carries a story of instinct, transformation, belonging or the unseen parts of yourself. The one you choose may echo who you are, or the qualities you wish to carry into your next chapter.

Meet the eight below, linger over the creature that draws you back, or take our quiz to explore the familiar that echoes your answers. Let curiosity lead. The meaning is yours to discover.

Water — Crowley & Bartok

Between one chapter and the next

A familiar for the threshold you are crossing.

Some seasons ask you to begin. Others ask you to loosen your hold. In our Grimoire, Crowley belongs to the quiet work of shedding an old skin; Bartok to the courage of entering a space before the whole path is visible. Two creatures of Water, speaking differently of change.

You might choose a familiar for the moment you are living through: a departure, a promise to yourself, a return to something you thought you had lost. Its image becomes a way to name that moment, and to remember the intention you brought to it.

Let choosing it be a small ritual. Read its story without rushing. Notice the words that stay with you. Ask what you are ready to release, and what you want to keep close. Your medallion can carry that personal meaning into the ordinary hours of your day.

What are you ready to leave behind, and what will you carry forward?

Earth — Larka & Beldam

Twins, allies & the circle you choose

One familiar. More than one side of you.

Some bonds are born of resemblance. Within our elemental circle, twins share an element: Larka and Beldam belong to Earth, one a story of loyalty and chosen bonds, the other of patience and the world you make, thread by thread. Together, they can give form to two intentions rooted in the same ground.

Other bonds bring complementary qualities together. Our natural allies pair Fire with Air, and Water with Earth. Salem can meet Diaval or Jareth; Bartok can meet Larka or Beldam. One familiar may mirror your instinct, while the other holds a quality you want to invite into your story.

You choose the meaning of the pairing. Keep both close, alternate them with the season you are in, or share one with someone whose story touches yours. Your circle need not be complete in a single night.

Build your circle: choose two medallions and save 20%, or choose three and save 30%.

One for the nature you know. One for the path you are exploring.
